Gear up to join us on this cycle and paddle trip to explore Hoian outskirt area and ecosystem of Cam Thanh mangrove forest!
Just a few minutes out of central Hoi An, Cam Chau and Cam Thanh commune can give you a glimpse of Hoi An countryside that is not to be missed. The tranquil roads are suitable for even the most inexperienced riders and the paddle through the mangrove forests is a fun activity for everyone.
Our guide will meet you at your hotel with the bicycles. You will start the trip with a gentle ride through the rice paddies in Cam Chau and Cam Thanh. There is a short refreshment break at a local house for a seasonal drink and a talk with its friendly host. The cycling route finishes at our kayak station where the next part of the adventure will begin.
You will have a guided-paddle to the cocopalm forest, a mangrove ecosystem unique to Hoi An. There is a great opportunity to see special fishing traps, fishing boats and observe the river community at play. Interact with the fishermen and women who still use traditional fishing methods and who live on the river. After around one and a half hour paddling, you’ll back to our station where you will have time for some refreshment before getting back to your hotel. End of our services.

16.30 Arrive at kayak station in Cam Thanh. Paddle to cocopalm forest, pay a visit to the bamboo studio then back to the station
